Tetra Medica General Tonic 100ml

A general tonic for a wide range of fish ailments.

The following can be treated with Medica General Tonic:

• Ectoparasitic diseases
• Skin Haze: Costia (Ichthyobodo necator)
• Fresh water Oodinium
• Skin Parasites
• Gill Parasites
• Wounds
• Injuries
• Fungal Attacks
• Bacterial Infections (fin rot and mouth fungus)

Disease symptoms:

• Fibrillated fins
• Whitish coating
• Whitish or grayish mucous membrane opacification
• Fins
• Opaque eyes
• Shortness of breath (rapid movement of the gill plates)
• Wounds
• Inflammatory redness of the skin

Dosage:

• Normal dosage: 5 ml to 20 litre
• Severe disease: 10 ml to 20 litre
• Quarantine tank: 5 ml to 20 litre (without biologically active filter or device)

Specified method of use:

• Treatment cycle lasts 5 days
• Single application on the 1^st day of cycle
• Partial water change must be done after every treatment cycle
• Water change should be filtered over Activated Carbon for a period of 24 Hours
• Re-dose may be done if no improvement is observed

Shake well before use!

• For use in aquarium water
• Dosage graduations, equivalent to 10ml, are on the bottle.
• Medicine is intended for freshwater ornamental fish.

Contraindications and side effects:

• None known.
• The owner is requested to inform a veterinary surgeon or pharmacist of any newly-discovered side effect.
• The specialist retailer or product manufacturer should also be informed of the side effects.

When using this product, take note of the following:

• The tank should be well aerated during the treatment process
• All absorbent filter media (activated charcoal and synthetic resins) should be removed
• The UV clarifier or UV sterilizer should be switched off during the treatment process
• Treatment should be carried out in the fully functioning aquarium to disinfect the water and to treat uninfected animals
• Treatment cycle lasts 5 days
• Do not use with other medicines and remedies
• Protect from light! Do not store above 25 ° C! Keep in original container.

Special warnings:

• Treatment for animals only.
• Keep out of the reach and sight of children!
• Discard medicine after expiry of the specified.
• Do not use after expiry date!
• Fine-leaved plants, such as e.g. Ceratophyllum species (hornwort) can be damaged as the strong coloring can lead to staining of components in the aquarium plastic parts and silicone rubber tubing.
